To get some extra exposure for the company on Twitter, I came up with the idea of Free Account Friday. At the time, contests on Twitter were still fairly rare, so the idea was innovative.

The contest was a big success, getting several hundred retweets every week and garnering multiple press hits, a case study (to read it just click on the "Decho" link in the table of contents) and a speaking gig at the MarketingProfs Digital Marketing Conference Fall 2009.
